 Q: What is the mission of the Forum?

A: The mission of the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform is to unite key stakeholders to speak with a common voice to leverage research, policy, leadership, and replicable practices to drive middle grades reform.

Q: Are there different membership levels and benefits?

A: Yes, good point for clarification! National Forum Membership is open to individuals and individuals approved by an organization. Two membership levels are offered with benefits, responsibilities and annual dues for each level. Options include a contributing member and an advocating member. Both types of members have varying benefits and responsibilities.

Q: What is a contributing member?

A: Contributing Members are active in carrying out the work of the Forum through roles such as Board members, State Schools to Watch Directors, Forum Committee Chair, Grant and Research team leaders, contributors of documents/articles for Forum website or publications, and/or planners of special events on behalf of the Forum.

Q: What is an advocating member?

A: Advocating Members are knowledgeable of the work of the Forum and wish to advance, promote and strengthen the work of the Forum at the school, local, and state levels in a supporting role.
